Manitoba Legislative Building

The Manitoba Legislative Building, originally the Manitoba Parliament Building, opened around 1920 and is known for its gold-covered bronze statue of the Golden Boy at the top of its cupola. Ghosts tend to visit the hallway to the right of the grand staircase, say those in the know. A man in a suit with a top hat haunts the staircase itself, and spirit meetings are said to be held nightly in a room nearby. Some reports say that on the advice given by mediums, security guards knock before entering certain rooms so as not to disturb the ghostly meetings.
