The University of Cambridge dates back to 1209 and has been ranked as one of the best universities in the world. With quite a history, it should be no surprise that Cambridge has had its share of paranormal reports. In the Old Master’s Lodge, Henry Butts took his own life as his reputation was slandered; it is believed he was exorcized in 1904. In the H Staircase of Chapel Court, a foul-smelling and grotesque looking head has manifested. The Gibbs Building is said to be haunted by a teacher who was discovered dead inside of a coffin. A pale man has been seen in the dog cemetery and in Clare, a dead professor who donated his body to science apparently didn’t have his wish completely fulfilled; he now haunts this area.
