  1. My son is a student at UAlbany and lives in Waterbury Hall on Alumni Quad. About a month ago he texted me on a Monday morning and said that he had the strangest thing happen. He said he saw a dead person. Of course I asked if he was drunk or dreaming? He was adamant that while he layed in bed on a Sunday night with his roommate out of town, he saw a young man wandering around his room. He said that he kept walking around and then came close to my son and put his face up to his, my son instinctively stuck his arm out to protect himself and felt a chill like he has never felt go through his whole body. He said the ghost kept pacing back and forth and was looking out the window. He then sat down on the side of my son’s bed and was trying to pat his arm. My son was in shock but said he never felt any sense of danger. He said he wandered around for quite sometime and then disappeared. After hearing this story, I went on google and searched his hall for any deaths. Apparently a young man was found dead in Waterbury Hall in March of 2014. I am not sure if it was the same young man. But my son was very humbled by the experience.

  2. Im in Mohican hall, didn’t know it was haunted but thought instead it was another dorm across campus. Everything felt strange, if you were alone in the showers it always felt like someone was watching you. One night at around three am, my mirror that has been hanging on the wall for weeks flew off and crashed to the ground. I didn’t think much of it and went back to sleep. Today I found out my exact floor is haunted by a girl dressed in white. Officially freaked out

  3. The year was 1992 in Mohican Hall. i was in my boyfriend’s room and i had to use the bathroom. I had to go to the all girl’s bathroom on the floor below. While in the stall water turned on, but wasnt on. After i finished, I washed my hands and as I looked up in mirror there was a young woman standing behind me in the mirror. Shoulder length curly/ wavy hair. About 18-20 years old. I ran out of there so fast i thought my heart was pounding. I was so scared and the only thing that made me feel better was my boyfriends insensitive friends asking me” why didnt you say hi?”. It was real. And years later , when my daughter went to Suny albany i saw that it was known that Mohican was haunted.
