Robinson Jeffers, poet and builder of the granite house and tower, is said to linger here. The site was featured on the TV show Ghost Adventures. The Tor House is open for tours by appointment on Fridays and Saturdays, but photos may be taken only once a year, at the annual garden party held there in May.

    1. I had a paranormal experience here on 4/21/17. My husband and I had just completed our tour, and the docent asked me to read the poem Tor House. When I finished, my husband took a picture of me standing in front of Hawk Tower. In the picture, it looks as though Una is appearing above me on the stairway. My husband took two pictures in rapid succession and she only appears in this one.
