Voices and footsteps have been heard at this pub, which supposedly was once a mortician’s office. Some staff believe it is the old mortician himself that still haunts the place.

The whole neighborhood is haunted. I lived in 2 separate houses growing up in the area and in both I heard voices, my room door would slam, and one time my pants legs which were hanging on a chair started kicking up and down like crazy. I was also dragged out of my bed while home alone. The area use to be a bit of a crime hub and when I was a kid there were regularly brutal murders reported in the area. Prostitution was rampant and the cheap sketchy motels drew a drug and sex trafficking crowd. Also lots of shootings/blood on the sidewalks. Canadian media typically burries these stories by putting them on the last pages of the paper and not giving many details but violent crime is a daily occurrence in most neighborhoods of all Canada’s big cities. I don’t miss Banff Trail or Calgary.
