  1. This is a creepy cemetery. We have had a few strange experiences here, but nothing that I can confidently say was paranormal. We got a picture of a very bright orb while doing an EVP session. Also got an overwhelming smell of cookies while in the children’s section of the cemetery.

    • I agree that the smell of cookies may not be paranormal but you told us you got a picture of a very bright orb. How is that not paranormal? The very definition of an “orb” is related to the paranormal.

  2. I went to the cemetery a couple years back it was creepy bats in the tree’s it was great! I was feeling a little weird so i walked over to my dads truck and i looked up at the hill and i seen an apparition. I was spooked as much as i was shocked. It was a great experience and if you want creepy then go!

I am hesitant to post my full encounter. Only because it is 100% true, but, totally sounds like something outta a cheesy scary movie. Additionally, my backyard faces the cemetery and I would hate to attract late night weirdos looking for a thrill to the cemetery… keeping me up all night. Prior to moving here, I had not experienced anything like what I have encountered here in my home and in the surrounding area. Odd/scary things happen in my home. I think it’s all due to the cemetery. Last nights occurrence is what prompted me to research the cemetery finally. I found this website which kind of shed some light, but, did not account for what I saw last night. I didn’t realize I was seeing a ghost until maybe a half an hour of trying to rationalize the irrational. I want to say, that prior to last night, I have never in my entire life seen a full body apparition. In the movies, they are portrayed with a glowing light and float. This was not that. I thought it was some weirdo walking the road of the cemetery. I woke up for no reason at 12:19am. Looked out my window because the neighbors dog was growling. It took a while to realize this. This night was foggy and cold. Seeing a young athletic built man in shorts and a t-shirt is odd. He had cute lil white dog walking in front of him with no leash. When he was directly in front of my window from the street, he looked toward me. He had NO facial features. Startled I stepped away from the window. I went back to look out thinking this must be my eyes playing tricks on me. As he walked near the street, two cars passed him. Once the street was calm, I saw a horizontal bright green light flash n this man disappeared. Sounds cheesy n phony I know, but I hope that sharing this experience will help others who have also seen this as well. If anyone has info on this particular guy/apparition, I’d like to know. Hopefully we all can get some answers.

Amazing lot creepy. So the dude was inside the cemetery and you were looking out the sliding door or was he in front of your house on the street? I couldn’t imagine that and seeing no face and it was aware of you cause it turned! Holy shit! But it makes sense living that close to a cemetery.

  4. A friend and I visited the cemetery this evening on a whim. We had absolutely no expectations and simply visited to take some photos. We brought our EVP reader along and got some pretty chilling responses. I felt very uneasy, but asked if anyone minded me taking some photos. The EVP responded “Quietly.” Once I started taking photos, the EVP read “Film.” A few seconds later it said “Heading.” We asked where they were heading and the immediate response was to “attack.”

We left immediately due to the uneasy feeling we were feeling. This place is CREEPY. As creepy as it is, we’re going to revisit shortly. I felt the need to write this out prior to making a second visit.

  5. I visited there a few years ago with my family and boyfriend at the time, now husband. We decided to go around the time that rumoured to peak activity. I believe it was either 12am or 3am. It was many years ago. We saw something we had never seen. We first saw a light reflecting in the grass that we could not see where it was coming from. We were parked along the side of the cemetery. We got scared and decided to slowly drive away when we saw IT. A huge orb. It followed beside the car that filled us with overwhelming emotion. The orb huge it had a swirl of colors within it resembling a bubble. I saw pink, white, purple within the orb. It scared us to the point we sped off and had to park somewhere to try to understand what we had just witnessed. Once we gathered ourselves we decided to drive back but from a distance we parked. We saw various lights floating through the trees. Red, white, and orange. I’ve never seen anything like it.

  6. My brother (who is a retired police officer) and I went there one night to do some ghost hunting. I got a picture of a bright orb hovering over a grave. We also got an evp. We asked for a name of a spirit or someone that was present and the response was “Susan”. Very creepy I believe it to be haunted.

  7. In regards to my earlier comment on the “Susan” EVP. I failed to mention that we were standing next to a grave where a Susan was buried.

  8. I was driving on the 60 going to cabazon. It was raining really hard at the peak. I slowed to see if a lady walking on the side needed a ride but I was driving too fast to stop safely. I called 911 to report her in case she needed help. The operated laughed when I described the lady in all white and long hair so I couldn’t see her face. I asked the operated if it happened a lot. With all seriousness she said yes. Up till then I’ve never seen anything like it.

I remember when i was 16, i snuck out of the house and i was very gothic and i lived a block away from the cemetery and i would walk in platform boots. I remember standing next to some veteran’s tomb stone and i heard gun shots. I found out something about Beaumont California from where the Cemetery is to where the plaza is on 2nd Street. And I found out where that plaza is, all that used to be Sunnyslope Cemetery. Only problem is Dollar Tree is haunted. The bodies are still there and the tomb stones have been moved. And i had a sketch pad. I set it down and the spirit picks it up and dropped the pencil. Its very haunted. And when i walked home a block i went upstairs and it followed me in my house and i heard growling. It followed from the cemetery.
