The historic Roberson Mansion, completed in 1907, is rumored to be haunted by ghost children who run in the hallways and possibly original owner Alonzo Roberson himself. An older man has been seen in the museum near closing time, only to disappear without a trace.

I would like to be invited to investigate this further. I do have abilities and can fully communicate with the afterlife. I do not need an EMF reader or a ghost box. My methods are more in detail, It would be for a weekend, I do have equipment. I have evp’s, video’s and pictures etc….The photo I am about to submit to you is NOT edited as along the lines of other then a crop, I just got home from working 1 hours. I thought I was seeing things in my cup of tea I was about to fill. After taking the photo, I looked and took more at different angles

I did an EVP this morning, as clear as anything a different voice other then my own can be heard giving an introduction of who he was. I did another EVP you can clearly hear them using my first name telling me ” the book”

    • Lol, it’s obvious that the picture is a reflection of the napkin that’s next to it. Nice try! The drink looks quite refreshing though.

  2. When I was younger, we had a field trip to the museum. Another friend and I got lost in the stair case area, because we heard a voice saying come this way. We heard children laughing, but before we could follow it the teacher found us.
My mother went when she was younger and saw a man in what was the “ball room”.
My nana heard music when there was none playing.

Generations of my family saw creepy things in this museum it is definitely haunted.

  3. I took an art class at the local community college, the building where the studio was was an annex of Roberson. The professor thought it would be really neat to go to the mansion (right next store) on Halloween to do some drawings. Our class was pretty small, probably only 15 students or so & in a big mansion there was plenty to explore to draw. Everyone was off doing their own things, most mainly in the bedrooms upstairs. It was very odd but as soon as I entered the lobby, beneath the staircase by a pillar I saw a beautiful standing clock & was immediately drawn to it without further exploring the mansion. I sat down with my drawing pad, originally intending to do just a quick rough draft drawing. Once I started drawing everything just kept flowing & it ended up being only one completed drawing. The whole time I was drawing the professor was upstairs with the majority of the students. I felt a cold chill on my shoulder & felt as if the whole time I was drawing someone was looming over my shoulder. To this day I absolutely love visiting the mansion, the architecture of the building is so beautiful & so detailed that it makes it hard to be rivaled & impossible to resist its charm.
