Porch House

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Porch House

This historic house dates back to the fifteenth century. During the late twentieth century, a lot of archaeological work was carried out on the building, and many workers reported sighting a shadowy apparition sitting in a rocking chair in the upstairs bedroom.

  1. As I was driving down the road past the HM Prison in Erlestoke, my car’s automatic sensor went off to brake immediately when nothing appeared to be in the road. When I arrived in the village I parked up and got a hug electric shock off my car.
