At the 1901 Parmly Billings Library, many ghostly things are said to happen. Apparitions are seen of a tall man in white on the fifth floor, a female with brown hair and glasses on the third floor, and a cowboy and another man on the second floor. Strange things happen in the basement, such as unexplained noises, swinging light cords, ghostly visions, and an intense feeling of being watched by something unseen.
