Rose Island Lighthouse
Rose Island Lighthouse is thought to be haunted by the ghosts of cholera sufferers who were exiled here long ago and, possibly, a former lighthouse keeper named Charles Curtis. Witnesses say they’ve heard voices and footsteps, and a photo has turned up a reflection of a ghost.
The Rapids Theatre
The Rapids Theater, built in 1921, is believed to be haunted by the ghost of an actress who committed suicide here long ago. Paddy Reilly’s is haunted, according to witnesses. After the bar is closed, voices can be heard, bottles break and glasses move. There have also been many shadows and apparitions, including one riding a bicycle. I guess it just proves that spirits like their… well, spirits. Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor
The Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor’s Hangar 37 is a museum while Hangar 79 stands battle ready. Both are rumored to be haunted. Old Boulder City Hospital
Old Boulder City Hospital was constructed during the Great Depression for workers on the Hoover Dam. When it became a community center in 2012, folks soon realized they weren’t alone in the building. Moaning and other unexplained noises as well as footsteps and shadow figures have been reported. Apparitions have been seen here too. Reports say many of the old hospital’s deaths were covered up by listing the cause as pneumonia, when actually the patients died from carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of their work on the dam. Old Stone Fort
Old Stone Fort is a 1772 church that was used as a fort during the Revolutionary War and an armory during the Civil War. Reports say there is still a cannonball hall embedded in its wall, but that isn’t the only thing that remains here from its past.
