The church and nearby cemetery are believed to be haunted. The bell at the church sometimes rings by itself at night, and people have reported hearing ghostly singing and laughter. The church doors open and close late at night, and people have reported seeing a shadowy figure approaching the church building from the cemetery before vanishing suddenly.

The Sacred Heart Mission was established in 1876 and later became a convent and a school for girls. The initial heritage site was destroyed by fire in 1901, but the mission site was rebuilt. Ruins of many past buildings are still visible today, and so are the spirits that haunted the church buildings and nearby cemetery. People have reported seeing the apparitions of monks and priests walking around the site, and also seeing animals that disappear and make strange noises late at night. A shadowy apparition has been seen in the basement of the mission, and cries, moans and screams have been heard in the vicinity of the church building. In the nearby cemetery, heavy breathing and ghostly voices have been reported, as well as the growling noises of animals when there is no one around. Strange lights have been seen floating around the graveyard late at night and in the early hours of morning.

The apparition of a woman in white haunts the apartment complex. She has been seen pacing the hallways and walking in and out of rooms in owners suites. She has also been seen by motorists staring down into the street late at night. Residents have reported hearing strange noises and disembodied footsteps when no one is around.

The Roma Historic District in Roma, Texas preserves an intact example of a border town in the lower Rio Grande valley. The town was an important port and transshipment point on the Rio Grande from 1829 to the 1880s.
The apparition of a beautiful girl in a flowing white dress has been seen in the plaza area outside the church late at night. Crying is also heard when no one is around.

The apparitions of young children have been seen inside the church building and in front of it by passing motorists and parishioners. Screams come from inside the church during the night.

There have been reported sightings of the apparition of a headless soldier in the historic log cabin. He is seen in various rooms of the house, as well as by motorists driving past the house in an upstairs window.

This 1906 building previously housed the old Finnerock Furniture building and now houses an arcade of quaint shops and restaurants. There have been reported sightings of many ghosts, including numerous apparitions in period clothing wandering around the building. The ghost of a little girl has been seen near the old elevator shaft, and a small, shadowy apparition has been seen in the basement. An evil presence is felt on the lower floors of the building. Disembodied footsteps and ghostly voices have been heard. The apparition of a man in an overcoat has been seen in and around the old manager’s office.

This building has been abandoned for over fifty years, but people driving past still report seeing ghostly lights moving around the upper levels of the building, and hearing strange noises when no one is around.

This historic abandoned building is haunted by several terrifying entities. In the section of the building that was previously an army training unit, an aggressive entity pushes visitors around, and has been known to swear or threaten those present during visits. Factory appliances move around by themselves, and cold spots have been reported. Smoky apparitions have been reported following people around the building, and people have reported seeing orbs flying around the building basement.
