The Kozy Korner Restaurant is no longer in operation, but who knows whether anyone told the ghost boy who frequents it. The ghost was unknown until a photograph of a boy who resembles the apparition turned up; locals have learned that the ghost’s name is Carl.
Kozy Korner Restaurant
Fork in the Road
Once called Inn the Olden Days, the Fork in the Road restaurant used to be a tavern in its early days. This may explain the ghostly footsteps and the sound of pool balls hitting each other and rolling across the floor. Vaporous clouds and voices also have been seen and heard in the storage areas.

Marquette University
There are several spots at Marquette University rumored to be haunted. One is the Helfaer Theater where a deceased artistic director’s apparition has been seen and unexplained banging erupts on the catwalks. Another is the Humphrey Hall dorm building, which was once a children’s hospital. Ghostly children have been captured on security camera monitors and heard laughing, crying, singing or screaming. At Johnston Hall, the ghost is rumored to be a Jesuit priest who committed suicide by throwing himself off the top floor. Another suicide victim haunts Mashuda Hall, and until her room was blessed, her ghost emitted sounds, sent objects flying and wrote messages on foggy windows. Straz Hall was once the East Hall and a YMCA building where Petey, a small boy, drowned in the basement pool. He haunts the basement still, audibly walking toward witnesses in the vicinity. And at Varsity Hall, there’s a ghost of a stagehand who suffered a gruesome death when he fell into a large fan and was cut to pieces.
Cardinal Stritch University

Concordia University Wisconsin
At Concordia University Wisconsin, students have reported quite a few ghostly occurrences, thought to have been brought on when nuns sold the buildings to the school. One of the nuns, whom students call Sister Sixtoes, allegedly didn’t want to give up her home and remained until her death in the chapel. The nun is said to haunt the chapel and three dorm buildings: Coburg, Catherine and Augsburg. Witnesses have seen a ghostly outline on the stairs near the chapel and noticed things in their dorm rooms had been moved. Electrical appliances and lights turn on and off without cause here as well.
