Old Sheldon Church Ruins

The Old Sheldon Church was housed in a church built in the mid-1700s. The British burned it in 1779, during the Revolutionary War, but was rebuilt in 1826, only to be burned again in the Civil War. It is said to be haunted by an unknown Pilgrim woman in a brown dress. Her apparition has been seen near the grave of an infant.

Muehlebach Hotel

The hotel building was formerly a theatre, and hotel guests have reported seeing the apparition of a lady in a blue dress on different floors of the hotel. She is believed to have been a former theatre patron or actress who died when the building was part of an adjoining theatre complex in the early twentieth century.

Holton House Bed and Breakfast

The manor house was previously a funeral parlour before being refurbished to a bed and breakfast, and guests have reported ghostly activity such as voices coming out of the dining room when there is no one around. Guests have also reported seeing shadowy apparitions in their rooms at night.

Blind Tiger Brewery

The brewery and restaurant is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a woman named Helen. Strange noises have been heard in the building by staff, and people have observed strange lights moving around the brewery after it has closed down for the night.

Atlantic Hotel

The ghost of a young girl riding a tricycle has been seen and heard in the hallways of the hotel. Objects move around by themselves, and lights go on and off when there’s no one around.

Kent Manor Inn

The ghost of former inn resident Alexander Thompson reportedly haunts the building after hanging himself in Room #210 of the hotel. Disembodied voices and footsteps have been heard, doors open and close by themselves and guests staying in the room where he died have reported smelling cigar smoke. Strange lights have been seen in the corridors of the historic inn, along with other paranormal activity.

Point Breeze Club and Hotel

The ghost of a man in period clothing has been seen in rooms of this old hotel. Various other ghostly activity has been reported.

Nahma Inn

The apparition of a woman has been seen floating up the stairs of the old inn. There is a room reserved for the spirit, and in this room, light go on and off by themselves and furniture moves itself around.

Hilton Garden Inn

The ghost of a flight attendant who was murdered here has been seen in the third floor hallway of the hotel. The automatic doors open and you can hear footsteps, but there is no one around.

Sieting Hotel

This hotel was built in 1912, and claims of hauntings have been reported there ever since. Sobs, screams and moans have been heard, as well as voices. The ghost of a tall, shadowy man and a little girl in a white dress have been reported.
