A chambermaid named Sarah was said to have been walled up here by the Witchfinder General, Matthew Hopkins. Sarah is a good soul with a good sense of humour, described as being short, blonde, and in an old chambermaid costume.

A man named James Parnell was imprisoned here until his death. Part of his punishment involved having to climb a rope in order to obtain his food, but never recovered after a fall. James is reported throughout the building since his unfortunate passing.
Guests have reported the presence of a woman in white; it is believed to Miss Anne Lisle due to many people feeling as if someone is standing behind them in the same room as her portrait. A lady in grey is also reported in the East Lodge; her presence is detected with the smell of strong perfume.
A jilted bride named Sarah hung herself in this building. She would throw objects around and give guests and staff the sense of being watched. However, activity here might have stopped after one psychic has claimed to have crossed Sarah into the afterlife to be reunited with her lover.
A woman named Juliet Tewsley hung herself on March 17th, 1050 after suffering from a case of a bad broken heart. She is said to return every March 17th on the eve of her suicide.
Pere Cheney is a ghost town in the heart of Michigan. At its peak, 1,500 lived here, but after a series of epidemics wiped out a majority of the population, the town was empty. Local legend says that the cause of this misfortune was the doing of a witch banished, and hung in the forest. She is said to haunt the cemetery as well as leave hand-prints on the cars of visitors.
