Old Stone Fort

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Old Stone Fort

Old Stone Fort is a 1772 church that was used as a fort during the Revolutionary War and an armory during the Civil War. Reports say there is still a cannonball hall embedded in its wall, but that isn’t the only thing that remains here from its past. Witnesses say they’ve seen an apparition, and heard a woman scream in the tower and an organ play itself. The site has been featured on an episode of TV’s Ghost Hunters.
