The oldest cemetery in Tallahassee, dating back to 1829. One “resident” of note is Elizabeth Budd Graham (d. 1889) who was known as a “white witch.” She has an impressive gravestone that is a must-see.

The reason people claim she’s a witch is because her grave faces the west, while every other grave faces east as is customary. Apparently this is a sign of devil worship, or so I was told. I don’t think there’s much truth to this story, but none the less, I know a lot of people who claimed to have seen weird things at night in this cemetery, so it certainly still belongs on this list.
