Try to get the third-floor suite that faces Duval Street. Visitors claim there are numerous cold spots encountered throughout the day, and nighttime brings eerie sounds of objects being moved around the dressed, spectral sighs, and the distinct feeling of someone sitting down on the bed you’re sleeping in. Upon returning to the room, objects are seldom in the same spot you left them.

The couple we vacationed with said they heard scratching on the walls and knocking in the tv room. It woke them up and didn’t sleep well after that. Very frightening and it was on 3rd floor.
I stayed here in 2015. Our room was on the 3rd floor and faced duval street. We left to go out for the nighy and when we returned, the french doors on the blacony were wide open and our room was ransacked. Clothes everywhere, our stuff was thrown around the room…i called the fron desk, but they assured me no one was in the room and being that nothing was missing, i didn’t make an issue of it and brushed it off and blamed it on the wind blowong open the doors. Later on that night, around 3 AM i heard a loud clap right next to my ear…I immediately awoke and thought I was dreaming, i turned over and i looked at my cellphone on the night table to check the time and i felt a big chill and i heard the clap again as if someone had clapped their hand right next to my ear…i shrieked and woke up my wife who also felt a presence…needless to say, we did not sleep the rest of the night and could not wait for morning…thankfully that was the worst of it…i later googled to see if ocean key was haunted and sure enough, this article calls out the exact room we stayed in….this was my first ever paranormal experience
