According to local tales, the Ninth Street Pub’s ghost is Mrs. Sonnenburg, an elderly woman who lived adjacent to the pub and often complained about its noise. After her death, the owner of the pub purchased her home and made it into a pub addition. A staff member who was much too young to remember Mrs. Sonnenburg got a fright when he met with her ghost. He walked into the pub area that used to be Mrs. Sonnenburg’s house and heard an old woman’s voice say “What in the hell are you doing here?” No one was visible.

I was playing pool in apparently her old house? I went to use the john, and in the next room I heard something that sounded like a door slam, when there was only just a few co workers there with me I walk out of the bathroom and look to the left and every door was shut except a closet door?
