Napoleon House

You are here Home  > Restaurants and Bars >  Napoleon House

Mayor Nicholas Girod had the Napoleon House built; it was finished in 1815, and was meant to be a residence for Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon, however, never lived here. Now a restaurant, bar and reception hall, the building is said to be haunted by spirits who have been reported to blink the lights and shove unsuspecting folks in the back.

    1. Visited New Orleans this past week. Walked through the French quarters and before that visited monteleone hotel . The bar was cool , loved the scene . As I was walking some more I found napoleon house , Only took 2 shots . A pic of the front door and a another picture of the sign . I notice this place was establish 1797. Now a bar and cafe. But I didn’t have time to go in. As I zoomed in the other night on the sign picture, I notice something strange . Looks like a double face next to the wall second floor . Looks like one big face(skull) and a little face . Or it could be two faces . I am sure it’s a sign of paranormal activity . I never have seen a ghost in my pictures . This is def .something to hold on to .freaky
