Mystery surrounds the Nahanni National Park Reserve, where in 1906, the gold-mining McLeod brothers were found decapitated near the river. Nine years later, another prospector named Martin Jorgenson suffered the same fate. Then a trapper named O’Brien. And the mystery may have begun many years before: No one knows why an entire tribe of nomadic folk called Naha vanished long before the prospectors came.
