This historic tavern was formerly the headquarters for an oil company, and at the turn of the nineteenth century, a man was allegedly killed in a machinery accident on the premises. His apparition has been known to talk to patrons in strange voices and he has also been known to throw objects. Occasionally, the apparition of an unsmiling woman has appeared to staff, but her association with the building is unknown.
