Although the inn burned down in 1989, there is still a ghost who frequents the corner where it once stood. Folks say here, on the southeast corner of Harbor and Commonwealth, the apparition of Mr. Melody, the former owner’s father, appears holding a box of matches. The ghost has even been known to light a cigarette for passersby, then smiles and disappears.

I don’t think this place is haunted I walk there day and night never seen anything
As much time as I spent in there during the 80s, and half the stuff I remember…it should be…lol
