A pool in McCarren Park has caught the attention of paranormal fans. When McCarren Park opened the giant pool in 1936, it had a capacity of 6,800. It recently reopened after being closed for over 30 years, and is rumored to be haunted by an invisible little girl. Cold spots, orbs, voices and more have been detected here. Incidentally, three men are said to have died at the pool: One was murdered and two drowned when they sneaked over the fence to have a nighttime swim.

I was born in Brooklyn hospital and raised in williamsburgh Brooklyn for 36 years.According to what was told by the adults when I was little girl.during the 80’s gangs used to rule the area.remember the movie “warriors” ? Well I’m referring to those types of gangs.2 gang member where shot to death by rivals. That is when that mccarren swimming pool was closed. My older brother was a teenager at that time and he would sneak out inthe middle of the night with out my parents finding out .He would meet up with 3 other friends at that park with flashlights.according to his story.people us to go worship Satan at that place and try to conjure up the dead that died there.there was a huge hole in the ground near that area where you could hear chickens making noise and hear howels of mourning.there where satanic symbols sprayed paints all over the abandon locker rooms.he told me none of them ever returned because one of his buddies felt someone grab them by the neck area and couldn’t breathe.Mybrother is a 43 yr old man now and when he tells me this his arm hairs stand up
My boyfriend and I were in the playground part of the park at 2:30 in the morning last summer 2022 and I was sitting on the picnic table by the kiddie swings my boyfriend walked out to go to the corner of the street and then right behind my right ear I hear a very deep growl my hair stood up I was afraid to look behind me but I started getting chills I told my boyfriend we need to go now and I mean now I started to get tears in my eyes but once we left to go to the park on russle street I felt better my body felt calm he told me he heard the same thing a feed before I went with him the Same place and same deep growl
In 1620, when the Pilgrims arrived in New England, neither Christmas nor cluster rush Halloween were celebrated. Since Marlow wasn’t even established until 1717 and this section of NH and VT probably didn’t have 70 people in total, it’s unlikely that this place is haunted from a Halloween celebration in the early 1600s.
