This old-fashioned diner was built back in the 1940’s, and was shipped to the island recently to begin a new life; although a former owner appears to have stayed behind. Staff at the restaurant have heard people calling their name and had weird experiences while working late shifts. Employees refer to the ghost as Harry, and say that he is not regarded as an unfriendly presence.

Place is dark and on that strange draw
I don’t know why they aren’t open.. We were walking past..you know–just doing the usual wine tours thingy and I saw movement inside, but no cars and nobody inside when I looked back. This is typical of American Hauntings–was it the reality of the cook who was spurned one final time from his Ex–a waitress? Was it an older spirit of an indigenous or earlier being? Or was or just the fanciful tale of a passerby? I had also just been to the holistic bookstore where I was looking for a new Runes book.EVERY PAGE i had turnedd earlier came up reversed. Even my wife–a non believer turned her head. Was that a premonition? I’ve had them before and perhaps the spirit was speaking to me and trying to get my attention or was it just a trick of my eyes? I’ve not learned to trust those instincts. Sometimes old spirits–very old spirits have less attachment to this world and are less apt to reach a modern and over stimulated mind.
I dunno. After hours. It is a Friday in November. My anniversary and my wife’s birthday with both Saturn and Jupiter glaring down.
I had to look. Has anyone else posted on this location?
