Lucky Lanes Bowling Alley was once a movie theater called the York. Legend has it that a bomb blew up here, and the victims are still in the building. Footsteps, children’s laughter and moving objects have been reported here. Another story says a woman hanged herself in the building, and her apparition has been spotted in the balcony.

Around 1960 some party blew up the projection booth in the York Theater, destroying all the cinema projectors and associated equiptment. It was done at night and, thank G-d All-Mighty, no one was injured. I never heard of any suicide. My father Abraham and his brother Samuel were the owners of the theater.
when my mom was a kid she would go in the front just before you walk in and scream as loud as she could because it would echo and sound cool.she took me and my sisters there and we screamed as loud as we could. so if anyone here heard screaming that was probably her.
The place was open to the public I heard laughter
did the laughing sound like a child
My grandma’s husband used to own it and me and my brother spent alot of time there. Me and him deff saw a ghostly looking girl at the top of the stairs. And have heard strange sounds also. I also heard about the suicide and was told the girl we saw was prolly a girl that was accidentally pushed over the theatre balcony during a fire and died.
have you tried to make contact with the entit
