This school’s library is reportedly haunted by the ghost of a person who committed suicide by hanging. It’s also reported that teachers who have passed away linger here in spirit form, especially walking the hallways in the main building.

Your information isn’t entirely accurate. The library which used to be the chapel never had a suicide by hanging. The suicide by hanging was done on the 5th floor of Caldwell Hall. The library is probably the most active at the school and it’s from a former principal, Harriet Haskill, she was there when it was Monticello College and was principal from around 1867 to 1907 when she passed away and her favorite place was the chapel and later the library. Whoever created the post should probably fact check before submitting something.
