The old-fashioned mansion dates back to 1893, and is believed to be haunted by the spirit of Cora Wood. Local lore states that her ghost, dressed in white, has returned to the house to search for her lost children.

This house was for sale close to thirty years ago and my parents looked at it. My mom says that when she went into one of the bathrooms, there was a dead crow in the bathtub and “help” written on the wall over the tub. It was at that point that the realtor said that there were previous reports of the house being haunted. Still creeps me out to this day.
