As me and my family were sitting in their back dining hall inquiring about any haunted events, one lightbulb flickered and went out before the server could answer… he stated that sometimes they would see shadows and once a figure dressed in white that was mistaken as a chef. I’m not a believer in paranormal activity but that place gives me the creeps. The food is to die for though so no worries!
Did this place used to be called the David Finney Inn? Both the inn and Jessops Tavern look alike.
No, David Finney Inn is on the same side of the street but about 2 blocks before you get to Jessop’s Tavern.
I’ve been there alot I’ve seen a few odd things lights flickering on and off a cup fly off the shelf behind the bar but the every one knows what is causing it and just keeps going on with business and just says its the ghost
I was there on April 23rd with my girlfriends. As we were waiting for our food, i noticed a gentleman behind the bar. He was wearing a white dress shirt; rolled up at the sleeves and suspenders. Nobody else had noticed him, and he seemed like he used to work there, or own it. He stood there and observed the whole floor, watching as if he was making sure everything was in order or okay.
I lived upstairs when this was the Captain’s Log. I never had any paranormal experiences while there.
