Jemez State Monument, the ruins of an ancient pueblo and a 17th-century Spanish mission, is said to be haunted by many apparitions: priests, Native Americans and Spanish settlers. Visitors often hear disembodied footsteps as they walk among the ruins, and ghost lights are said to appear late at night.

My husband and I were camping off of road 376. We had spent one night and plans to spend another. That was until we’re heard something running at us. We could not see it but what we felt was anger, and that it didn’t want us there. We packed up in 30 minutes and left. This happened yesterday evening. Be careful out there, you never know what has happened to someone out there. We will not be going back
