According to reports, a guest in the Chrysanthemum Room awoke to find a woman’s ghost standing near his bed. The guest said that the ghost didn’t want him to leave the inn. To show her displeasure at his leaving, she tore up his newspaper into tiny pieces and left them all over the room’s floor.

My husband surprised me with a Birthday trip to my favorite place, Charleston SC. We Always chose Indigo Inn while visiting and adore the Carriage house which is part of Jasmine House it is quaint and has very friendly staff..we were blessed to be able to stay in the third floor flat. It is Beautiful..during the evening we thought we heard a small dog whining by our bed… When when we were able we went through our pictures and saw some pretty incredible, unexplainable things…nothing bothered us and Even if it is haunted I would stay again in a skinny minute!! KUDOS to all the great staff both at The Indigo Inn and Jasmine house!!!
