This historic Victorian estate is said to be haunted by original builder Mr. Coleman’s daughter, Anne. She committed suicide by laudanum poisoning in 1819, rather than go on without her love, whom her father refused to allow her to marry. Her apparition has been seen extinguishing candles, opening or closing doors and windows, and rearranging pillows on the guests’ beds.

This home was not built for Anne Coleman in 1819. It was built for a iron plant supervisor in the 1880’s. Anne Coleman NEVER lived in this home. If it is haunted, it only became haunted after the death of it’s owner, Mrs. Margaret Walter in 1979. Been there many times, never saw anything happen.
This place is now Misago Bistro, a sushi restaurant
