Hotel Vendome

Reportedly haunted by a former owner and her cat. The owner apparently died of a broken heart due to her husband’s desertion, and not content to go into the afterlife alone, chose not to feed the cat either.

    1. I stayed here about 11 or 12 years ago.

I was walking from the parking lot. and the person i with – asked which one was supposed to be haunted. I posted to the room from the walkway.

We then heard a noise from that room, the innkeeper said – there was no one booked in the room.

We go to our room. It was the last one on the hall on the right on the first floor. same side as abbys room . Right next to the back door.

and I felt like there was a cat playing in my room or on my bed.
I was so freaked out I almost left in the middle of the night.

    2. My parents slept in room 16 many years ago and room 16 is the haunted room and my mom had her covers off but when she woke up the were on her and she was tucked in the closet door also opened mysteriously and a dress that wasn’t there earlier was there my mom was freaked i haven’t visited since 2012 because my grandparents moved to the opposite side of the us 🙁

    3. My fiance and Istayed the night recently in room 31; we both experienced the sound of someone speaking very softly and the hiss of a cat..very creepy!

    4. My husband & I stayed in Abbey’s room. Nothing that we had noticed until we got home the next day.
We had our film developed (pictures of the table she dedicated to her cat, opened closet, etc.). We took 2 pictures of each area about 5 min. apart. There were ORBS ABOVE THE TABLE one large & one small !!!! In the closet one picture showed a suitcase on the shelf, the very next picture showed THE SUITCASE WAS NOT THERE !!!! I wanted to stay there longer but the room had already been booked. LOVE IT WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!!

    5. This hotel has a lot of paranormal anomalies. Have stayed a couple of times and have caught interesting EVPs and great photos on my infrared camera. The one included has my daughter in it but a black cat in the front by the curve of the chair and to her right a white cat in the black chair with an orb with facial features by the lamp. A lot of activity in lobby and porch areas
