Reported to be haunted by the ghosts of numerous soldiers who died here during the Civil War when the hotel was used as a hospital. Numerous reports of full-body apparitions as well as some people reporting that when they step out of the elevator in building 5, for a moment, they see a Civil War era hospital scene.

Yes, it’s definitely haunted! I stayed in a suite with friends in 2004 and we all saw a man dressed in colonial attire walk through the bedroom door into the living room, then through the living room door into the hallway. It was a very clear, full-body apparition and when I say he walked through the doors, I mean he walked THROUGH the closed doors!
My mom stayed in building 500 and said when she was sleeping she saw a tall dark shadow figure feeding her thoughts to harm my sister
My cousin and I were the last to leave building 5 two days after hurricane Ida. We seen some orbs and felt we were being watched at times. Nothing too crazy. However, when we fled the hotel, we both immediately felt a magnetic, fuzzy feeling as if someone need NOT want us to leave. We RAN away as soon as we got away from the door! I also took pictures where someone seen they seen a small girl under the suites.
