Built in 1903, the 20-room Victorian mansion is home to some eerie occurrences. During tours, some visitors have had their hair pulled or had something unseen jostle them. At least one young boy has seen the apparition of a woman believed to be Mrs. Overholser.

I would love to investigate it.
I have gone by the Overholser house several times. I have seen Mr. and Mrs. Overholser, looking out of the upper window of the rotunda. I’ve also seen Mr. Overholser out on the front porch. Also Mrs. Overholser tending to the flower garden in front of the porch.
I have taken the tour of this mansion. I definitely believe it is haunted. I had a strong feeling of being watched and unwelcome, especially in the attic/nursery. Very creepy vibe up there.
I’ve been involved in investigations at the mansion a few times. I’ve never seen anything, but I can tell you that I felt that something is definitely there. It’s nothing menacing. Just people who loved their home & wonder who all these strangers are walking around their house.
