This gravity hill can be found on Cheaha Road. In case you aren’t familiar with the phenomena of Gravity Hills these occur when an optical illusion makes it appear that your car is rolling upward on a hill, when in fact, you are rolling down. The phenomena can be experienced by simply placing your car in neutral and waiting and you will begin to roll…seemingly uphill. A natural, rather than a supernatural phenomena but still pretty neat.

I LOVE gravity hill. I have lived here my whole life. I was raised in these woods. I LOVE to take friends to the hill to experience the thrill. Halloween was a good day to go. My most memorable ride up gravity hill was when I topped the hill and gained speed going down the other side. It got scary, my speed around
35 with gravel roads. I was riding my brakes, as I would let off the brakes the vehicle would speed back up. I finally got scared and stopped. I still visit sometimes, but it is a very interesting place. It definitely feels as a force of something is happening there.
Thanks for posting this. It sounds really interesting and ODD!! I can see why you’d say it feels like it’s a “force of something” happening there. And who knows? Maybe it IS? Perhaps not everything has to have a scientific explanation?
