What’s a haunted castle without a Grey Lady? Here, it’s said to be Lady Janet Douglas, a 16th century woman burned at the stake after (possibly fabricated) claims of witchcraft emerged. She is most often reported in the clock tower or chapel. A severely mistreated black servant is said to be in the Queen’s bedroom. Also, look out for a woman peering out the windows with a mutilated face; not much is known about her. Lastly, Earl Beardie, a former and cruel leader of a rebellion against James II, leans over bed and is heard cursing. He is said to be very intimidating.

What, no comments about the infamous ‘Monster’ of Glamis, the supposed true heir to the castle hidden away forever in some secret room inside the castle?
