There are reports of a “phantom dog” roaming the eastern portion of Lake Eola Park. People will clearly see the small, brown dog walking the park, like any other dog, until he disappears right in front of their eyes.

I saw it walking late at night while I was on a walk with my wife by the time I told her to turn around it was gone
I just found out that this was probably a ghost! So back during the pandemic my now wife and I decided to walk around the lake while we waited for our table at the nearby Stubborn Mule. When we got around the amphitheater I noticed a little brown terrier sniffing around the flowers and bushes. Me being a dog lover who just lost one of my girls the previous month, I had to check if he had an owner. I called to him and he padded over and gave my wife and I a ton of kisses. When I went to pick him up he wouldn’t stay still, he ran around the bush and I followed and I somehow lost him. We looked around for 5 minutes until our table was ready and we never found him. Thought it was the weirdest thing. But then I heard this story on a haunted Florida video and instantly remembered that adorable dog and got chills. I have a picture of my wife and I at the lake, and my wife tried to get a shot of him as he rounded the corner of the bush but missed him. Crazy stuff.
