The ghost seen here is said to be Michael O’Donnell, once the troubled son of travel agency founded Dorothy O’Donnell. In life, Michael had substance-abuse problems although he was known to be a kind soul, and his spirit is still known for his kindness. Seen in the theater lobby, sometimes leaning against the wall and reading a book, the ghost is said to guard the neighborhood children from harm.

I work at the Fullerton Museum Center, where we present the popular Haunted Fullerton Walking tour. The Fox is one of our stops, but I’ve never heard the Michael O’Driscoll story. Could you e mail or call us at the museum (714) 738-3136 if you have more information? Thank you, and happy haunting!
