Tennis players use the courts during late hours have reported seeing the apparition of a man pacing around the building back and forth as if he is guarding something. Witnesses say he smells of rotting flesh, and if followed, will vanish suddenly. Strange noises are also heard when there is no one around.

Back in ancient Hawaiian days, they practiced human sacrifice. Link to map where PapaŹ»enaŹ»ena heiau was located: http://imagesofoldhawaii.com/possibly-the-last-human-sacrifice/
They say it was torn down and sits where La Peitra school is located, however if you overlay the map to Diamond Head, and if the map is 100% accurate, then the ancient Heaui location puts it where the Diamond Head tennis courts are located. There was also a battle in Kapiolani where they say hundreds of bodies laid. I live in the area, so I can honestly say the area is haunted. The ghost will make you feel sick how they felt, possibly as they were sacrificed by bludgeoning (they spiritually attack). They will show you a tall dark shadow, and bring fear. Whether the dark shadows are people who were sacrificed or warriors, is still a mystery. Just respect they are there, and hope they leave you alone.
