Been there two different times and both times strange things happen. Saw lights, by my jeep, like someone walking by with a flash light and no one who was there had a flashlight. Was playing a joke on friends and was going to try to sneak off into the woodline behind a big tree and something stopped me from going. Only saw a dark shadow up to the waist and could not look up no further.

From living in Jackson, a nearby town, and going to Mt. Nebo just about any time we’d get bored. The death masks on the tombstones seem to watch you as you drive up to the church. There’s one street light on the property, which is claimed, if it’s on and you park your car under it, if the light goes off, your car isn’t going to crank back up. There’s other places nearby that are equally as creepy.
