You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Cuballing Hotel and Tavern

This historic hotel was built in 1912, and is believed to be a local yardman named Ted Leighton. His presence usually makes itself known during winter, and has been known to smash bottle, slam doors, push over beer kegs and turn electrical appliances on and off.

Many years ago my friends parents owned the place. She asked me to go there to help clear & cleanse the place. In the bar area & in the cellar I sensed there was a presence of a man who’s spirit would get frustrated & angry. Up stairs in the hotel rooms I sensed the spirit of a lady possibly a cleaning lady who lovedto wear hats & there was also the spirit of a playful young toddler boy. Plus just down the road the old bank was heavy with spirits too.
