Commissioner's House

The Commissioner’s Residence historic site has been restored to its 1916 state as it was when its denizens were Commissioner George Black and his wife, Martha. Later it had been used as a senior citizens’ home, and then stood empty for years. Now, it’s said that former residents linger here as spirits, walking along the upper floors and providing eerie voices, footsteps and whispers.
