  1. I’m a clairvoyant and live in Maricopa, about 30 minutes west of Casa Grande. The lore is that a ghostly man is seen wandering the aisles of the toy section at night, and that it isn’t unusual for all the motion-activated toys and dolls in the area to be set off simultaneously for no apparent reason. Well, I had been to this K-Mart a number of times and never felt anything odd about the energies there before. (Yes, I do still do still go down the toy aisles, lol.) On my first visit to the store after learning about the ghost, I made more of a point to scope the entireplace out and make a conscious effort of noting energy fluctuations in the air, and I still didn’t get anything from the toy section. However, I felt a weird shift in the air upon entering the west half of the store, where the automotive and hardware departments are located; I can only describe it as a bend in the energy and a shape like a “V” presented itself as an image in my mind. It had me wondering if perhaps the websites from which I learned about this alleged haunting were outdated and the store had since been remodeled, and the “bent” energy was actually coming from an area which USED to be the toy department. (Its current location is in the center north section of the building.) A little research on my part may reveal further answers, but it’s an interesting lead.

  2. I used to work there in what used to be the restaraunt. we would hear weird noises at night and would see a man walk by the order up window but no one would come to the door, stuff would get moved, the bread rack would also get moved and no one was in there. One night when I was working, cleaning the place at the end of the night I heard a loud noise like something being shoved across the floor, when I looked the rack for the bread was pushed across the floor and up to the wall, the restaraunt is not there any more now its the team sports area. they toy area was in the west end of the store, now it is in the back of the store. When I worked there the toys were still in the west end. the big ball cage would have balls bounce out for no reason and you would see a man out the corner or your eye after the store was closed when you were cleaning.

  3. WOW I NEVER OF THE NEVER THOUGHT THIS HAPPENED IN THIS STORE. THE BATHROOMS WOULD SCARED ME. I FELT LIKE SOMEONE WAS WATCHING ME WHILE I WASHED MY HAND.

  4. I worked here for years up until closing and my co workers and I always had unexplained experiences. Things moving, register lights flicking on. One night I was in the back getting an item for a customer and I hear a voice say “do you need help with that?” Nobody was there. Some customers were more scary than the ghosts though.

  5. I worked in this Kmart for years, including as the Toy Dept. Lead. I often was in the store stocking after hours. This store is not haunted, these are all myths. It was just an old building.

  6. I spent years working here until it closed, and throughout that time, both my coworkers and I experienced strange things. Things are moving, retro bowl and lights are flickering. As I was getting something for a customer one evening in the back, I heard someone ask, “Do you need help with that?” There was nobody present. Still, some patrons were scarier than the ghosts.
