Activity has stopped as of remodel according to sources.
Before the remodle I use to work there as a Library Page years ago at the Carlsbad Public Library in NM. Before closing the library down often we would all be in the lobby and stuffed animals that were in the childerns section on top of bookselves would just fall down onto the floor. The stuffed animals were in the middle of the very wide bookshelf. Also, the head of the Library at the time told me she saw (and others have seen) an apperition of an old woman in a rocking chair in the attic. Before I knew this I hated going in the attic to turn off any lights. I would get goosebumps and often I felt as though someone was watching me when no one was around.
