Cajun Queen is a Cajun restaurant situated in one of the oldest houses in the area. Its ghost is said to have been a former owner who is annoyed that in her old bedroom now stands a bar. However, others say she shows up because she just wants a drink.

Just visited Cajun Queen last night with my family – six of us were seated upstairs in front of the live band. As we were enjoying dinner and the band was playing, I noticed a straw come flying out of the container sitting on the top of the waiter station and land onto the counter below. I immediately looked around to see if there was anyone around that could have caused the straw to come flying out, but no one was in the area. It was not like the straw just fell out either – it literally lifted out of the container and was thrown to the counter below. I immediately gasped and asked if anyone else saw that – of course no one else did but they did see that the straw had landed onto the counter. It was quite a strange experience, one which I have no physical explanation for. No breeze was blowing, and no one walking by the station to have caused this action. It wasn’t until we left the restaurant that I looked It up online and found out that the restaurant has a history of being haunted. Quite a strange experience and could definitely feel a presence in the room even with all the noise and people there!
