The haunting at this cafe seems to be somewhat of a family affair. Witnesses have seen the apparition of cafe owner’s mother Yvonne Devos in the bar area or sitting at a table, and her husband Robert has been seen in the basement. Also, an apparition of a man is said to freak patrons out by walking in the door, and objects have been known to move about on their own.

We were hosting my special needs brother 50th birthday party by feather bowling with 20 of his close friends. My brother was up to feather bowl when the man next to me asked if he had done this before and what his name was. I told him his name was Robert, but we called him Bobby. Looking over, I Saw the man was in a strange suit jacket but as it had gotten so cold I didn’t think much of it. He asked if it was ok to give Bobby a few pointers. Of course, I replied. For 2 hours, Bobby put all of his pucks on the feather or closest too. There are multiple reputable witnesses to this, from top rated licensed clinical psychologists to degreed engineers, all who attended his birthday. When I went to thank the gentle man for making Bobby’s birthday so special, I couldn’t find him. Nor could any one else even remember seeing someone like that. So I kept my mouth shut and toasted this man with my Boomba. I swear I heard another class clink to the toast.
