I am interested in finding out more information about this location, and maybe going on a tour? If there is someone who can take me on a tour of the Bijou, that would be so wonderful!
I saw Let there be rock by AC?DC back in the 80’s at the Bijou and there was this crazy group of immigrants that was raising hell and screwing with people there that night. It was a weird place for sure.
Well I’ll be darned. I live on the coast of Oregon, and I was just trying to get somewhere in Oregon on the Random selection, and this came up! Well I am really happy. Maybe sometime I’ll visit!
F this place, people think messing with haunted places is fun, but it isn’t so fun when you feel hands around your throat and feel like you are being suffocated to the point of nearly blacking out, and are swinging at nothing trying to get free just to not make contact with anything. The feeling of complete dread that overcomes you as you’ve accepted your fate is the worst possible feeling you could ever feel in your life, and leaves you permanently messed up and open to other things. So if you like looking crazy to people when you explain an experience like this, then by all means, keep messing around at places like these. You will hopefully live to regret it. Adrenaline rushes aren’t worth permanent psychological damage that you are left with.
I would think you are completely making this up however oddly enough this is basically exactly the same thing I’ve personally heard from someone else. To be honest I don’t remember if it happened in the bathroom or the theater but they left abruptly. When asked what happened this was their story. Being choked. I think I always believed them but also kind of didnt. Wild. I have gone there many many times through the 90’s and it has ALWAYS been odd for sure. The tunnel to women’s bathroom is a trip and you definitely feel like you’re not alone in this building. I’d NEVER work there. I’ll say that. But otherwise awesome place to “play” as a young person.
