We were booked at the hotel to provide music for a wedding. We had heard that the hotel was haunted and kind of got a chuckle out of that. When we got into the room he placed an unopened mini bottle of champagne on top of the armoire. We went out and came back at the end of the night. When he got into bed he hit his head on something hard. When he checked, the bottle of Champaign was inside of his pillow case. The cork was still in the bottle but the foil had been removed. We checked the entire room and never found the foil wrap anywhere.
I stayed in room 16 down the hall on the left I did not hear any knocking nor did I see any ghosts but my cell phone and my wallet both fell off of the nightstand between the beds nothing else was on the nightstand I was almost asleep when I heard my cell phone fall I leaned over to pick it up and then my wallet fell off the other side I do not have an explanation for this but it doesn’t seem like it was thrown it just simply decided to slide off the I did not know the place was haunted until after the fact I wish I had known because I would have try to look into it further
My husband and I stayed there last December 2019. Nothing happened but this old hotel was very eerie feeling with cold spots. We did enjoy the oldness of the building and how it has been preserved to look the same all these years later. It was a little creepy especially in the very small ancient elevator and narrow hall ways. We enjoyed our stay.
I requested a tour in Novemeber 2019. The kitchen staff reported their knives changing locations. We took an elevator that seemed to have a mind of its own. Just as the doors closed on us, they immediately opened again as if somebody put their arm through to hold the elevator for themselves. Then the doors shut a second time and we went down. It was weird. I asked the hostess if that had ever happened before. She said no, haha.
