I used to live next to the Bay Horse on the right hand side of the building. My living room shared its wall with the bar area of the pub. One night a friend slept on the sofa in my living and was plaqued for most of the night by what he described as the figure of a small girl hiding behind the kitchen table and chairs who kept peeping out at him and waving. He was very shaken by the whole experience and had no knowledge of the Bay Horse hauntings untiI told him the next morning on hearing about his restless night.
