As a teenager in the 90’s, I was in One Act Play. We would perform at the opera house and it definitely gave you that eerie feeling of being watched by something other than an audience, especially while rehearsing with no audience and very little people in the building. Going alone backstage never felt as if you were actually alone. And the electricity/energy in the air was sometimes startling but I never felt it to be evil, just someone who stayed behind because they enjoyed the theater.
